Weissmies is a great place to begin exploring Saas Grund. This steep landmass is recommended by fellow travelers, but it's not the only spot to see here. Allow some time for other sights like Saas-Fee Ski Resort, Hannig Gondola, and Allalin to really enjoy what the area has to offer.

My stay here was welcoming and mostly comfortable. Room was clean although it felt a little dated, they definitely tried but no denying this is an older property. There was a lovely little welcome bowl of fruit and a well stocked mini fridge. Both coffee and a tea kettle were provided. Air conditioning worked well and there was the option to open the windows which I loved. Bathroom was large with a walk-in shower and toiletries were high-end. I also noted the lack of a proper hotel lobby. There are two restaurants, one is pretty separated and the other opens towards the lobby although that seating is part of the other restaurant/bar area. So really no lobby seating which seemed strange. Overall a lovely stay; however, I would give another property a try before I stayed here again.
