"This hotel is very centrally located, just a 2-minute-walk to the pedestrian zone and main shopping area in Bielefeld as well as on to the main museum Kunsthalle and several churches from the 16th and 17th century. The hotel is almost adjacent to the city's music theater, close to great dining options and only a 20 minute walk (uphill) to the medieval fortress Sparrenburg which is absolutely worth a visit and offers great views over Bielefeld and its surroundings. "Modern room with almost all of the amenities you would expect -- refrigerator, TV, kettle -- but there is no AC so be aware. The bathroom was roomy, with a tub/shower (but watch your step getting in). For me this was a convenient location to walk through the old parts of the city and it's narrow, cobblestone roads."
