Grain Bin tiny home!

Located on the scenic Historic Oklahoma Waterway enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique grain bin that was built on site, using local timber in an effort to store the grain from the fields. Trees were cut down and milled to build this grain bin in the early 80's. Currently its a tiny home getaway, with a modern rustic interior, wrap around porch, and fire pit. Perfect for relaxing, hiking, kayaking, tubing, or fishing. Interesting thing about this property is the history. In the late 1830's the Hildebrand-Beck Mill was being built, right across the street from our property, along the creek. It was one of the oldest working mills in the U.S. During the civil war, federal troops occupied this land. After the war, in 1872 Ezekial Proctor accidentally shot Pauline Hildebrand and touched off a feud that resulted in an shootout at the Goingsnake Court House. The threads of the tapestry of history have woven in and out on this quiet setting on Flint Creek.
this particular cabin has a loft, that you will need to go upstairs to get to. The upstairs has plenty of room for a 6 foot four young man to sit and not hit his head on the ceiling, but there is not enough room to stand up upstairs. It’s specifically billed for sleeping.

Very comfortable
The bed, despite the limited headroom, was very comfortable. The whole cabinet was quaint and quiet - perfect for us. I took a nap for the first time in YEARS. I also took a pic of the mattress and will looking at those when we shop for a new one.

Such a magical find!
If your looking for a unique experience, this is the place to go! We stayed in the grain bin and it was fabulous! Watching the sunset in the hot tub was breath taking. We felt like we walked into neverland! Cabins in the woods, hot tub, cool lights around fire pit and a creek near by! It was perfect for a fun get away!

Simple and relaxing
Very nice cabin, beautiful outside as well. Lots of trees, hot tub, fire pit and a grill. The loft was a much smaller space than we realized. I am 5'8 and couldn't sit up without hitting my head. However the bed itself was very comfortable. All in all it was a great trip and exactly what we needed..

Was a little hard to find. Had a problem with the code to get in. other then that it was a nice visit. I would recommend putting a vent in the bathroom and a squeegee in the shower.

Cozy Getaway
We had a relaxing and cozy weekend getaway at the Grain Bin. The cabin was the perfect size for my wife and myself and the owners had it perfectly organized and cleaned before we arrived. Having access to wifi and Netflix was also a nice amenity as well. The property is beautiful and has a nice access point to Flint Creek. Overall we enjoyed our stay and if we are planning to be in the area would book with them again.

A little hidden gem
We were looking for a quiet place for a weekend anniversary celebration and this place was perfect. It was clean and comfortable and the creek behind the property was the perfect backdrop to the peaceful retreat we were hoping for. The owner was onsite working on the property and was very friendly, even giving us an impromptu tour of another cabin on the property. West Siloam Springs was a quick drive and we enjoyed the outdoor farmers market and a roadside flea market during our weekend stay.

Nice, quiet property
Issue with access (battery low), but the owner was prompt & courteous. Everything else was very pleasant. We were without power one day due to a storm, and again, the owner helped get us power as soon as possible. He was friendly & showed us his other unique rentals

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful! Even though there were other guests we felt as if we had the place to ourselves. Only complaint is that the loft was much smaller than we anticipated. We definitely plan to return here!

Perfect little getaway
It's a bit of a hike to get to the creek, but it was worth it. Nice little swimming hike with cold water. The cabin was cute and comfy. The loft is tight but the fans and a/c worked great to cool that area off. The stairs are kinda tricky if you have to get up in the middle of the night so, just be aware.

Great spot on beautiful Flint creek.
Owners have big plans! He has 3 rentals, a small but cute rustic cabin, a large 2 story workshop turned Bunkhouse (entire top open space with LOTS of beds +1 private bedroom downstairs and LOTS of space to hangout), and where we stayed, the Grainbin. It's a great space downstairs, with a wrap around porch with gas grill & swing, nice kitchen and living space, and a large bathroom. The bed is in the loft. It has its own AC and my dog and I slept great. My husband is large though, and ended up sleeping on the futon downstairs.

Fish, fresh air and tranquility. Great property. There was construction right beside us all day long starting at 7am, but we needed to get up and be down at the water all day anyway.
