“There was an immediate welcoming feel walking into this property. Maura was an excellent host and answered even silly questions promptly! The kitchen was fully equipped and there was a doggy bowl and a high chair if these were needed. Loved the fun sayings, and things like which bin was for recycling were clearly marked. Comfortable seating for 6 in the lounge and three comfortable double beds upstairs. Bathroom had some room to move and a heated towel rail. Parking spot right outside was grest.……

“Fantastic location with great views of surrounding countryside, situated just outside of a picturesque village. The bell tent was lovely very clean and bright, with good ventilation and a comfortable bed. The shower and toilet was adjacent to our tent and was very clean also. Jim the owner was very helpful providing lots of information prior to arrival and during our stay to ensure we had a great time.I would definitely recommend booking a stay here.Mark”

“A characterful converted cow shed with roof beams, but decorated in a modern way with all you need, and a free jug of milk.The bed was comfortable, and there was a wet room shower.I could not see any way to open a window, which I would have liked, and the Wifi only worked in half the room, which I mentioned to the owner.We were welcomed and again had goodbye said to us as we left, which was friendly.We prefer a separate bed room as one of us gets up very early, but it was OK for one night.A……

“Such a nice place to stay. Peaceful with lovely views. A short drive to pubs & shops. We were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area followed by some cozy nights. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. We'll be back!”

“Lovely hotel and grounds. Spotlessly clean, warm and inviting modern double bedroom. Very dog friendly hotel- great! Lovely setting. Polite reception staff. Didn't get to see inside the hall itself, as another event on as New Years Eve. Bar in the main hotel a little quiet at midnight, but that wasn't the hotels fault, just the guests if they had gone to bed!- as there was a DJ. Drinks at a price to be expected in a hotel. Didn't eat as room only for one night, so can't comnent on food. Same……
