"The place was very small and cut up. It was dirty and had ants all in the kitchen. Every room was in some form dirty including showers and toilets. Dangerous stairs to get upstairs and down. Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. "The home is lovely. The road to get to the home is a little survey and the road narrows, just an FYI. Only a few issues. With all of the fireplaces / pits, I assumed there would at least have been a starter package of fire wood. A reminder that there isn't would have been helpful due to the roads to get in and out of the location. Also the gas did not have propane, we had to run out and pay for the propane ourselves. "Pros: Very quiet, comfortable beds, pretty views and sounds from the creek, hospitable and helpful host - con: slight sulfur smell from the water at times (which was disclosed and harmless), but it didn’t last and we didn’t find it bothersome. "Everything we needed was at the cabin. Wonderful views of the river. We were able to put our kayaks in at the cabin and float to Buckeye and Seebert. We had a storm blow thru and the power went out but within 15 seconds the generator kicked on and we never missed a beat."
