"Staff was not coming to the desk for a long time. Used a hose that blocked the walkway to rooms to fill the hottug which was left unattended for a long time. Water then flooded the hot tub room which then flooded the walkway and surrounding rooms. Breakfast was also very low quality and not represented from the photos. Our option was a half a loaf of white bread, ran out of butter. The juice did not taste right and the cereal, what we could get out of the container was stale. Second story windows were open and no screens. Mold in the bathroom. My family is not very particular and are very flexible but this hotel experience was dismissal. "

"Our stay was okay. The rooms were clean and served their purpose. When we first looked online at this hotel on Hotels.Com the pictures did not match the actual physical layout building. The hotel is a lot older, the kids playground was closed/roped off (website description did not say it was under construction). We didn't try the food on grounds but heard it was good. Did want to share one experience that turned us off. We bought a dessert from the depot across the hotel (coffee and goods) and went to Spencer's restaurant inside the hotel for our kids to enjoy the dessert while us adults enjoyed a beverage from the bar and the female bar tender was so rude and told us "they can't eat that in here" it was her tone that did it for us. Even after we apologized she didn't say anything back. One expects better customer service from a hotel that is expensive and supposed to be family friendly. A simple, "hey its restaurant policy that no outside food is allowed, sorry." but she was rude and bothered. Its not like we brought McDonalds or something noticeable. It was a simple dessert from their own property store. Just annoying... Oh and if you want a microwave its $10 a night."

"Breakfasts were bland, waffle maker was crap (always a lineup because it consistently ruined the waffle, crumbled waffles everywhere). Was called at 11:15 pm by the front desk (my wife and I were fast asleep after traveling) and was told I needed to see them immediately with my credit card, they didn’t record it when we checked in. It wouldn’t wait until the following morning. I finally convinced the employee to accept my card number over the phone. I complained to the manager (while getting new entry cards for the second time, they quit working) and was met with just a confused look, no explanation. At best, it was comfortable for the night, and that’s it."

"This hotel is beautiful. It is one of the cleanest places that I have ever stayed at. The location was perfect being in the center of town. The owners and staff are the sweetest people you will ever meet. Would highly recommend and I look forward to our next stay here."
