This is a Motel. I paid for what I got. It was clean and conviently located by the freeway as an overnight stay when traveling.

Great accommodations in a good location

Great staff and amenities. Room exceptionally clean. Convenient location.

It was an OK hotel for being in the middle of nowhere. The freeway was really noisy and we had trouble with the Internet.

We stayed at this hotel because it was recommended by Expedia during our Sedona AZ trip. Initially I was a little apprehensive since it was about 26 miles away from Sedona. But OMG what a gem in the desert just outside of Cottonwood AZ. It was beautifully decorated with Native American artwork and even had a Native American artisan gift shop. The lobby was gorgeous with comfy furniture and tastefully appointed decor. The firepits and comfortable furniture on the patio were just what we needed after a long day driving and touring around Sedona. The room was very spacious and very clean. Only thing that they could improve on in the room was maybe add an additional comfy chair as only one chair was available for two guests and there is plenty of room to provide two. Also they ran out of bar soap for the rooms so that was a little unusual but not a huge issue. Used shower gel at the sink for soap. Breakfast was unbelievable considering it was labeled “continental”. It included a warm vegan Hopi stew that was delicious with a jalepeno corn cake to place on top. Also had warm sausage and cheese biscuits, muffins, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juices. It was all beautifully presented on an easily accessible bar. The staff and management were all extremely friendly. Would definitely come back again and stay for longer and spend more time hiking in the area and explore Cottonwood — a quaint little town with shops, bars / restaurants to try.
