Just a stone's throw from Hamburg, on the course of the Elbe, lies the Elbe-Weser region, which is always worth a visit. From the Hanseatic city to western Cuxhaven, the landscape along the course of the Elbe River is simply magnificent. Fruit trees, wide fields and hilly forests and, of course, the proximity to the North Sea make this part of Germany particularly beautiful.
Frank and Martin's house, a brick building that stands alone on a large garden, is almost 100 years old (but don't worry, it's been lovingly renovated) and gives you the opportunity to relax in style and in peace from the stresses of everyday life - even though you're actually pretty close to the city.
Here you can spend time in the garden, barbecue in the summer and spend long nights stargazing on the terrace, or make yourself comfortable in the library and living room in front of the fireplace. The surrounding area offers charming places for excursions. Next to Cuxhaven you will find the Wingst Zoo, a horse farm where you can ride Icelandic horses - this is of course especially great if you are planning a family vacation and feel like a bit of variety. Also the nature lovers among you will be thrilled by the hiking and walking opportunities around the house, and a trip to the North Sea beach is also just part of it, if you are already around the corner.
