“We truly enjoyed our short stay in Linton. This cottage was wonderful. We were greeted by beautiful flowers in the front! The cottage is nicely appointed with everything we needed. We appreciated the selection of teas! We also enjoyed reading the history of the ownership of the cottage, dating back to 1604. We enjoyed the coffee shop next door and The Dog and Duck down the street. The cottage was a perfect place to start our exploration of England. Thanks, Louise, for a lovely stay!”

“We recently rented three homes in England - They were all very, very, good. Even with this tough competition, the Mac Shack stood out as an absolutely wonderful stay. From the friendly, helpful, host and hostess and their beautiful, very comfortable home, I cannot imagine a better rental. We have rented many homes from VRBO, some City apartments, country cottages, beautiful villas and even a castle. Mac shack was the equal or better than any other accommodation. “Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. ”

“Clean room good communication prior to arrival”

“This is one of four well-equipped little lofts a few steps from Mill Road in Cambridge, England. It was clean and neat. Loft 4 might be better for people younger than we are, as the bed is a very low platform due to the roofline. There were nice skylights that opened and allowed a breeze to keep the loft cool. We were there in July.”
