"Bayshore Hotel in Dalian was nice and comfortable. However, the strange circular shower in the middle of the room had a leak that left the bathroom floor soaking wet. I requested some additional towels to our room since we used ours to put on the floor to mop up the volume of water that leaked but the staff just gave use 4 hand towels. That was disappointing. Nice location and close to Xinghai square, which is a great park on the waterfront."

"It’s a relatively new hotel. The rooms are quite modern. However the air conditioning is controlled centrally. This was annoying as the AC was stuck at 26 degrees for the whole floor. It was like being inside a moggy lizard tank. Also the hotel is across the street from a giant power plant with two huge smoke stacks. It’s quite an ugly sight and not got for the lungs I am sure. The room service food was also very bad I ordered the steak , fish and chips and then a sandwich as all portions are...

It's great to have a kitchenette, but there were no basics (I would assume previous guests would have left oil, salt, etc).
Room was a bit run down with LOTS of spots in the carpet.
Sheets were too small for the bed so they kept coming loose."

"Very good stay. The host was very kind. We were let into the room a few hours before the posted check in time. The room was clean and spacious. Cookware and dining ware were provided in the kitchen. There was a washing machine in the bathroom. We didn't use either of those items. But if you plan to stay for more than one night, it is a good deal considering the location."
"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Traveling in China can be challenging for foreigners, especially with restrictions on Google and many other apps. Additionally, obtaining a local SIM card was not possible for me, as Chinese telecom providers require a national ID. I was initially concerned about my Expedia reservation due to these limitations, but the front desk staff—particularly Winnie—was incredibly helpful and professional. Winnie promptly confirmed our reservation, scanned our passports, and assigned us a non-smoking room. She also took the time to thoroughly explain the hotel’s amenities and provide helpful information about local tours and transportation options.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. All staff members we interacted with were friendly and eager to assist with any questions we had. The location is also very convenient—there’s a subway station right across the street, and the train station is just a short walk away (about three blocks).
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Dalian."

근처에 무슨 공원이 있어서 거기서 분수쇼를 하는데
매우 볼만합니다. 대련여행에서 제일 좋은 부분이었던 거 같네요.
호텔 아래에 쇼핑몰이 있는데 식당도 다양하고 마트도 있어서 편리합니다.
이거 다른 사람이 알려지면 호텔료 올릴까봐 약간 걱정되네요.
시내하고는 살짝 거리가 있어서 디디추싱 타고 다녀야 됩니다만 그렇게 먼거는 아니고 호텔 근처에서 전철이 다닙니다

"Love Somerset and if I go to Dalian again will choose this place again. Minor issues that I would like the management to fix and that's to replace all pots and pans, some have gross build up that cannot be cleaned."
"This was our second stay here. This is a great hotel in a great area. Labor Park is across the street, it's very nice. There's plenty of shopping in the area. They keep everything very clean. The staff is excellent and friendly. A shout out to the assistant manager, Alex. He was very helpful in resolving a billing issue from the travel site. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of foods and the coffee was excellent. We'll be back the next time we travel to Dalian."
