“Merica Hotel locates in a small alleyway near the center of Chengdu. The room is small, but we had our best meal in a restaurant next door.”

I searched through many city centre hotels in Chengdu before booking this one. The pictures of the hotel and the reviews made it stand out. However, it was so much better than the pictures conveyed.
