Luxury River Front Cottage With Hot Tub & Spectacular Views

Relax and enjoy this dog friendly Luxury River Front Cottage nestled into the hillside along the Susquehanna River in York County. This 1300 sqft Cottage has been completely remodeled in 2021 including an outdoor Jacuzzi Hot Tub, gourmet Kitchen and high end walk in shower. Enjoy the amazing views from practically anywhere in the house or sit on the covered porch for fresh air. Bring a Kayak/Canoe and explore the River or stay in and enjoy the 75 inch Sony TV and Central A/C&Furnace.We offer a front door code for no contact check-in.

This home has 3 bedrooms, each with a Queen Size Bed, a 50 inch Smart TV, and a dresser. There is 1 Full bath with Toilet, Sink, and Walk-In Tile Shower. There is also a washer and dryer in the event you need to wash towels or clothing. The Living Room has a 75 Inch Smart TV (No Cable), NetFlix, Hi Speed Wi-Fi, and an L shape couch to enjoy the TV or the river views. The Living room is an open floor plan into the kitchen and dining area with astonishing views of the river at every glance. The Kitchen comes complete with leathered granite countertops, farmhouse sink, dishwasher, Gas Range/Oven, Microwave, and Stainless Steel Fridge/Freezer all brand new in 2021. The kitchen comes fully stocked with Pots, Pans, Silverware, knife set, utensils, Baking Sheets, Salt, Pepper, oil, casserole dishes, Keurig Coffee Maker, Traditional Drip Coffee Pot, Waffle maker, etc. The dining area is fitted with a locally sourced Live Edge Pine Table built by the Amish in Lancaster County with 6 seats. At the edge of the Kitchen sits a bar countertop with 4 additional chairs for additional seating. The Front Porch has comfortable outdoor furniture with seating for 8, 3-4 person Hot Tub and a gas grill for making your homecooked meals.

The Home is built into the river hills along a quiet peaceful road. Traffic is at a minimum where only locals who live nearby use this road. There is a lower and an upper parking area for at least 6 or more vehicles. The fireplace is inoperable and should not be used. There is no garage/basement access as this is used for storage. There are multiple options for restaurants, bars, food delivery etc in the area.

Perfect getaway on the Susquehanna
The Riverhouse was the perfect place for my solo getaway to take in all of what the area has to offer. There was much to enjoy on the property including the hot tub, huge deck, modern bathroom and kitchen with just about everything you can imagine, enormous TV in the family room, and convenient off-street parking. The views of the river were awe-inspiring and he sunsets are truly amazing. Josh was very responsive via both text and phone when needed. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

Unbelievable Home
The location was perfect, quiet, awesome views of the river from the wall of windows to the deck. This place is stocked with everything you need from cooking, plenty of towels to all the extras. Very well thought out decor, hosts know what they are doing. If you are looking for a great couples getaway or family this is your spot. Now let’s talk about the host Josh. Wow this guy is on point. Very responsive to all text or calls. I think I even may have asked too many but never skipped a beat. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to others. Thank you Josh.

What an amazing place!! We really loved this home!! I can't say enough about how comfortable and welcoming the host made us feel. It was like walking into our own home. From the communication, the views, and the extra touches, Josh and Nicole were awesome host. After a long ride, when you walk into wine, chocolates, comfortable house temperature, hot tub, and find a book with local pizza deliivery, it was like the angels were singing. It truly had everything we needed from spa towels to spices. I can not thank you enough for allowing us to bring our furbaby. We always look to find a clean pet friendly rental. It was just that!! Relaxation on the Rover
This was a perfect property for our family to get away and just relax, spend some time together and visit some local wineries, disc golf courses and sights. The house had everything we needed, the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen, comfortable beds, a great covered porch and hot tub. Already thinking about a return trip.

A welcoming and comfortable stay
In this comfortable house, we enjoyed watching the bald eagles soaring over the river, the geese swimming in precise formations, and the lovely sunrises and sunsets. Our host Josh was an excellent communicator and surprised us with a gift bottle of wine and box of chocolates. The house was very clean and unusually well equipped. An excellent stay.

Stunning hidden river views
Clean and cozy 3 berm aptnmt across the street from susquahanna river. Great views from dining room and outdoor deck with a family size hot tub. Kitchen is well furnished and modern. TVs in every room are a plus. Great for a small family weekend. On the constructive side, the place could use a 2nd bathroom and bedside lamps. All in, my wife, 7 yr old daughter, our 14lb dog and I enjoyed it and would come back.

Peaceful space for long weekend!
Cottage is the perfect word for this cozy and relaxing spot. We found ourselves just watching the wildlife and fishing boats on the river. We even saw a couple Hang Gliders and a Hot Air Balloon! Sunrise in the Hot Tub, could definitely get used to that!

We had a great time at this house. There were incredible views of the Susquehanna River and my kids loved going down by the river and looking for shells. The house was very nice and well decorated. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. It was a great week of relaxation and time spent with family. We definitely look forward to staying here in the future!

Just 15 minutes away from anything you need ( food,fuel, etc) but when you drive onto the street where the home is located its total Bliss!! The house was VERY well equipped to make your stay comfortable, very clean, and the location and views of the river are over the top. Highly recommended!

6160 River Road, York is a Perfect house for a family, even a toddler. We like to cook and the kitchen was great. Response from owner was very quick and considerate. Location is close to York and Lancaster yet very private on the Susquehanna River with river access.

Nice place - very clean and appears to be recently renovated. The deck and hot tub are fantastic. If you have a pet/dog, be prepared for the walk up and down the steep driveway or the steps as the house is elevated. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Magical waterfront getaway
We found this idyllic location for a work/restorative getaway for three lifetime friends. Having a bedroom for each of us was a luxurious benefit. The property amply provided everything we needed to cook/ rest and enjoy the river views. It has smart TVs in each bedroom and a massive TV in the bedroom, but we never even turned them on, we were so happy to sit on the deck, watch the sunsets and sunrises. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The cottage is beautifully renovated which was ideal for our needs. We did not plan to spend much time exploring all that york county has to offer as we were working from home. The bikes were a plus as we enjoyed walking or biking along River Drive watching the wildlife. My favorite part of the cottage is the view from the upper level of the living space. When standing higher up, you cannot see anything but water and can imagine yourself on a ship or in a houseboat. We will be back. Josh was super responsive and easy to communicate with, though everything was pretty self explanatory.
