It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. The AC in the room was powerful.

Excellent location. Helpful and attentive staff. Great view of the lagoon and overall excellent location close to all of the must sees in Venice. Hotel is right on a canal and the vaporetto is directly in front of the property. Breakfast was included and very delicious.

This hotel is centrally located 2-3 minutes walking from St. Mark’s Square!! Prime location to the square and the Palazzo Docale. The facade is royal and elegant. The room interiors are outdated but maintained. The shower was up to modern standards. I really liked the hotel entrance—you can access the elevator directly. You don’t have to see or walk by the reception desk. The AC was excellent!! It’s hot and humid in Venice. There was no coffee maker unfortunately. There’s a small refrigerator. The room and bathroom lighting were low. And in the daytime the curtains do not fully block out the light if you want to nap like me. There’s a mini grocery store next door. The staff is friendly. They a have a free Venice map at the front desk. I did not eat any meals at the hotel. Overall the hotel was a good value. I like the proximity to St. Mark’s Square. It was quiet. And I really liked the entrance going straight to the elevator without passing the front desk. The room interior decor is not modern and there’s no water heater/coffee/tea.

This is a great hotel at the wrong side of the canal. Going from one side to the other is only a nuisance but it makes a difference. Having said that, we still like the hotel given the cost value relationship

A few steps from St. Mark's Basilica. Basically a leisure stroll to anything you could want to do in Venice. The free bottle of wine awaiting in the room on chilled ice was a nice touch. Front desk check in was easy, they spoke many languages, including English. We would stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff. Air conditioning blasting. I would recommend it to friends.
