Check in took forever, then when we finally were given a room, it smelled so bad , we stopped at the door and couldn’t go in, second room, pillows smelled so bad , there was no way you could sleep with that horrendous smell, bed smelled so bad , looked like sheets were not changed , we were up all night waiting for hours to pass, breakfast was okay, there is only body wash in the room that you really struggle to get the soap out, if you do not have strong muscles, forget it . Elevator so tiny two people with luggage will not fit and then you have to wait forever to get the tiny elevator that goes up 8 stories, there is a second elevator that smelled of arm pit so very badly , and that one seems to be for the workers. It is not worth suffering in this place and overpaying for this dirty place just to be across the street from bus or train station, there are so many good hotels all around that are within a walking distance or a very short city tram or bus or taxi.

If you’re into 1980s retro chic this is the hotel for you. Even the shampoo has eighties vibes. The gym is surprisingly well equipped for a hotel, but lack any air conditioning so get a sweat on. Please put your weights away unlike the guest before me. Sauna was out of action “until end September”

Bed comfy, but room had stains on the carpet including maybe lipstick? WiFi was not good enough to do video calls which was a dealbreaker for me on a work trip. No gym and the one around the corner won’t let you buy a day pass - they just sign you up for a single free visit, so not possibility to go to gym multiple times during stay.

Helpful and friendly reception desk. Included amenities were unexpected but nice to have. Good location close by city centre

It's a good spot. It close to everything because it's in the center. It's a friendly staff because we have some problems in the bathroom and they help us to solve it.

Love this hotel and have stayed a few times when visiting Sofia.Comfortable and clean in a good central location with nearby metro station.Optional breakfast can be booked in the friendly restaurant next door.
