This is a good hotel, a nice affordable option to stay in venice. It's location is unbeatable.

Booked by mistake but discovered that fact too late to cancel, so we tried to make the best of it. Difficult to find, though I am very familiar with driving in Italy. Very nice facility and easy parking. Restaurant was fully reserved ten minutes before it was supposed to open. Staff not very helpful. No tissues in room (4 stars ?). Good beds. Convenient shuttle to the airport, reasonably priced. Empty refrigerator in room. Great shower, but had to “climb” into bathtub for it, and just one tiny handle on the wall.

We arrived at Hotel Venice Resort in the morning - understood it's too early to check-in. The front desk staff was kindly offer to leave our luggage in their storage room so we could return in the afternoon for the booked room. However, we're later assigned to a room in another building which was owned by an adjacent hotel. This building is located between two hotels connected by a poorly lighted long pathway. The room bed there only had sheets and pillowcases placed. We then asked the front desk and were instructed finding duvet/removable cover and a blanket in a large draw next to a refrigerator - what an unexpected bedding in this hotel resort! the paid shuttle to VCE airport next day was punctuate, though the driver just dropped us in an airport parking lot faraway from the departure terminal. Frankly speaking, I was wondering if this hotel was oversold in room booking but certainly didn't find anything there looked like the photos from expedia.com except a fenced swimming pool.
