Europe Eco-friendly Vacations

Everything was perfect, spacious room, large bathroom, great breakfast

Very nice but very big. Pools were ok.

My partner and I stayed at NEYA Lisboa for one night, booked through Expedia. We were excited because it was our last night in Portugal and we expected a 4-star hotel to be a nice upgrade after staying at several 3-star hotels during our trip. When we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly and told us our room had been changed from 407 to 604. He also explained that the entire sixth floor had no air conditioning, even though it was over 30°C outside. We were told there were no other rooms available, so we accepted the room. Unfortunately, the room had several cleanliness issues. The bathroom sink towel had already been used, there were crumbs all over the carpet, and there was food left in the fridge from a previous guest. The lack of air conditioning made the night even worse. The room was extremely hot, and neither of us could get a full night's sleep. The receptionist listened to our concerns, wrote down our room number, and told us to contact the hotel by email regarding the situation and possible compensation. I followed his instructions and have now emailed the hotel twice, but have received no response. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I have had at a 4-star hotel.

The property was beautiful, private and true 5 star hotel! The food and wine were wonderful as well as the staff and service in general! The roof garden is an extra plus! Forbes has named this hotel One of the finest hotels in the World for 2026 and believe me it lived up to this distinction in every way!

The property was beautiful. It was easy to maneuver if you need some assistance. They did a great job making it feel that it was in a place on its own, even thought it was walking distance to everything. The breakfast was amazing, with the buffet being well spread out and/ or you can order off the à la cart menu… or both. The resturant(s) at the hotel had a great selection and we enjoyed the meals that we had. I would recommend the reservation at the time of check in for the tasting menu. We had not and missed the experience. Note: the water you need to pay for, a suggestion is to go down to the supermarket and pick up some bottles, much less expensive. You can also pick up some drinks and put them in the fridge that is available in your room, One of the downfalls is the pool. It was only about 3 to 4 feet deep and you cannot swim a length as it was small and during our stay it was extremely hot and would enjoyed to be in the pool a little longer, however the pool was quite busy and hard to maneuver around the people. Overall great stay.

V convenient location with good sccess to the tube. Excellent overall impression. V good for a four star. Feels more like a five star. Room and bed etc v nice but only had a tiny window at floor level. I would definitely consider staying again. Good value for money.
