Nice antiquated hotel in Galway. Away from the city center, so it was nice and quiet. The rooms were spacious, we had a bed each for the kids, so as a family of 4 we could stay comfortably for 2 nights. However, everything is dated, the swimming pool is nice, but old and had an pool stench, nothing too bad, but you could sense it. Breakfast was nice and basic. It was a little pricey considering how dated everything was, in its heydays this must have been a pretty luxurious place.

The apartment had mold on the blinds and in the window seals, the smell of mold and mildew was present and made for a difficult stay. The location was perfect but the upkeep of the unit was lacking.
