Vacaciones con niños en Países Bajos

I had a very disappointing experience with the staff during my stay. The hotel itself was nice and the room was beautiful, but the service after an accident in my room was unacceptable. At around 3:00 AM, I broke my toe and lost my toenail, causing significant bleeding. My immediate concern was to get a first aid kit to stop the bleeding and avoid damaging the room/carpet. Because I could barely walk, I called reception around six times over approximately two hours, but nobody answered. Eventually, I had to go downstairs myself while injured and bleeding. I waited around 20 minutes at reception before a staff member wearing headphones appeared. She gave me the first aid kit but showed no empathy. When I explained I was upset about the lack of assistance, she replied that if it was so bad, I should have called an ambulance. The next morning, another staff member was even more dismissive, saying my wound “wasn’t that bad” and making me feel like I was exaggerating. I asked about a late checkout as minimal compensation for the situation, but I was treated as if I were asking for something unreasonable. When checkout time came, they called me immediately, and I ended up paying the fee. When I asked to speak with the manager, I felt dismissed and gaslighted. The tone only changed after I said I was recording the conversation for evidence. For a 4-star hotel, the lack of basic care, empathy, and professionalism after an accident was unacceptable.

Muy bueno el servicio en general

The room was extremely small, even when we reserved for a big room since we were three… TV did not work all first day… there was no shampoo nor conditioner in the bathroom… Price was over €500 per night and doesn’t worth for the room we got

El hotel es de menor calidad de lo que se espera, las habitaciones son viejas y en general ya se siente cansado, por el mismo precio hay muchas mejores opciones en Amsterdam
