Fantastic oasis in the centre of Florence, quiet street at the front but the real winner is gardens at the back, 10-15 min walk to everything with wine windows on the way. Didn’t use the spa, but spent time relaxing in the sun. The best morning coffee with breakfast, great base for exploring Florence whilst having a great place to stay.

The B&B Hotel Firenze Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio is in a great location, being right next to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge and easy walk to Duomo and Uffizi and Patti Palace (my favourite place we visited). The breakfast was very nice, varied and plentiful. Our room on the 5th floor was nice and clean with a comfortable bed, good air-con and everything else we needed, plus a good view. On the floor above reception, there is a lovely lounge to relax in when the heat gets too much or just to take a break before dinner. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and I can definitely recommend Trattoria Vasari for good food, atmosphere and service. Gino's bakery is also great for a midday snack. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and I will definitely stay here again when I next visit Florence.

One approaches the hotel with a drive through beautiful woodland and then arrive at a breathtakung Elizabethan revival manor house, the archtecture is truly impressive and the interior does not disappoint either. Our room was immaculate and the facilities are top drawer, Swimming pool, sauna,steam room, gym and a very smart spa. If golf is your thing there is a lovely golf course and driving range. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful which helps to create a very pleasant and relaxing vibe, all of which makes Dunston the perfect place for a relaxing break, we will definetly be coming back. Well recommended.
