Fantastic oasis in the centre of Florence, quiet street at the front but the real winner is gardens at the back, 10-15 min walk to everything with wine windows on the way. Didn’t use the spa, but spent time relaxing in the sun. The best morning coffee with breakfast, great base for exploring Florence whilst having a great place to stay.

One approaches the hotel with a drive through beautiful woodland and then arrive at a breathtakung Elizabethan revival manor house, the archtecture is truly impressive and the interior does not disappoint either. Our room was immaculate and the facilities are top drawer, Swimming pool, sauna,steam room, gym and a very smart spa. If golf is your thing there is a lovely golf course and driving range. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful which helps to create a very pleasant and relaxing vibe, all of which makes Dunston the perfect place for a relaxing break, we will definetly be coming back. Well recommended.

Quite tired looking hotel. Booked an upgraded double room and was given a small double that should have cost less. Was so tired after a long journey and working day that I didn’t notice until I went to check my receipt and realised what they’d done.
On arrival one member of staff was dealing with check ins despite a queue forming.
Be aware if arriving after 8:30 there will be no restaurant service.
