Superb. A real wow. We loved that you could see Arthur's seat, the parliment and the palace.
The apartment was spotless. And we didn't expect housekeeping everyday, that was a lovely surprise.

What an amazing experience. From the first moment you are treated as a revered family member. The individually named rooms are very well appointed and combine a story with luxury amenities. The Manse is also within an easy drive of several breathtaking hikes. The Michelin starred restaurant offers a delectable, locally sourced menu and is a must do on your stay. But what makes The Manse so truly special are the people. If you are traveling to the Cairngorms you must make this your base. Simply unforgettable.

The room itself was fine and spacious. The towel warmer didn’t work in the bathroom. Overall the property is very old but the rooms have been updated so that’s a plus. The breakfast in the morning is more than lacking: coffee machine doesn’t work, everything is stale and old, and it’s first come first served and they don’t refill anything. Also, it’s a long walk away from old town.
