Weekend getaways in Stratford

Sue and Al are the most wonderful hosts at Cottage on Caledonia and it's a perfect place to stay for a visit to Stratford. The bed is so comfortable, the homemade & quality breakfast is so appreciated, and the space is charming and welcoming. The saltwater hot tub is a huge plus as well! :) If you're looking for an accommodation with above-and-beyond hospitality, look no further. Can't wait to stay again!

My partner and I were in Stratford to se The Hobbit. The place is beautifully decorated. Barb and Hal made us feel welcome but at the same time they weren’t intrusive. Breakfast was delicious.

Hotel is simple but clean, comfortable and affordable. Friendly proprietors. Beautiful Landscaping around pool and outdoor grill and gazebo too!

Our stay was wonderful! The room was very comfortable and the inn is beautiful. The staff were very hospitable, kind, friendly, and very helpful. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are amazing. The Inn is also very close to theatre venues, restaurants, and fun shops. Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

Very comfortable beds, wonderful nespresso machine and kitchenette, lovely views and very wuiet. The gas fireplace was nice. The thermostat was difficult to use, and one room had a vent that seemed to blow cool air over the bed despite turning the temp up. The checkout time was ridiculously early - 10am on Fri, Sat, Sunday. There are few options for groceries after 9pm - we were stuck with the gas station nearby, and it was completely out of almost everything, including milk. Overall a...

Very fine restaurant. Staff very attentive and helpful

Craig Foster and his staff get a huge standing ovation from us. We had tickets for a 2 pm matinee and were stuck on Route 7 and arrived with 45 minutes to spare. We were able to check in and get a quick bite, and luckily the Avon Theater was across the street. We had an excellent dinner and breakfast. The pub is a treasure with a lot of locals hanging out there and a great beer selection. Our room was very comfortable and they have an elevator. Walking distance to everything. Perfect base for your Stratford trip. We walked to all of shops, restaurants and the theater. During the busy evening rush before the theater show,they fit us in for dinner.

Charming owners and staff.

The room was spacious, immaculately cleaned and charming. We enjoyed the balcony and the front porch of our friend's room. Andrew and his wife are very gracious hosts. We will recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again.

The hosts were very kind and pleasant. They even loaned us an umbrella when rain was in the forecast. Breakfast was exceptional. Great location and very quiet. We parked the car in the area behind the B&B and didn't get back in the car until we left 3 days later!

Beautiful old hotel but updated to be comfortable. Only issue was no TV service, streaming not good. Laverne was wonderful, the desk clerk.

Parking is right outside your room. A&W is right beside so easy food. While the outside looks...iffy...the room was immaculate and comfortable, free wifi, Roku TV and spacious washroom. The queen size bed was a dream to sleep in. Nice bonus of minifridge, microwave and coffee maker.
