Weekend getaways in Lunenburg

Margaret & Susan were very knowledge about Mahone Bay and surrounding areas. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The home was perfect for our stay and would definitely stay there again when Canada calls!

Amazing place! The owners are the sweetest people. The breakfast was delicious. The most comfortable bed! Cannot recommend this place enough.

We loved our stay at Fairmont House B&B! Fantastic staff and service and very convenient location right on waterfront of Mahone Bay. Michael and Thomas serve a delicious breakfast every morning that surpasses any restaurant in the area and the rooms are comfy, clean and have a great view. Highly recommend and we will be back again!

The setting of the cabins among the trees was so unique and lovely. A quick walk down to main street shopping and restaurants. Super comfortable and cozy stay.

Best place we have stayed at on this trip. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and very helpful. Our room was just remodeled. Bathroom was very roomy, new big tile shower with water that is hot not lukewarm. Comfortable beds with big fluffy pillows and big fluffy towels. Wonderful, wonderful experience. The restaurant was fantastic, check in was a breeze, the room was clean and well taken care of. But, above all else, the staff at the check in counter were amazing. We had a one night reservation but got stuck in the huge and horrible July rain/thunder storm. Roads were closed down due to flooding and unsafe road conditions and the threat of a dam breaching. The wonderful young ladies took great care of us by extending our reservation by 2 more nights and even...

Great location. Walk to food, museum,harbor. Quiet, spacious room with deck.

The views were amazing! There were large picture windows on both sides of the room-one looked on a woodsy marsh and the other onto the Atlantic. The room was small but had everything needed. They even included “whitener” for your coffee. A short walk back gave an amazing classic Nova Scotia view.❤️

The house is beautiful, good location a short walk to town and waterfront. Dining room was beautiful, sunny, comfortable with excellent breakfast provided

The staff from maintenance, kitchen, wait staff, house keeping, gardening and front desk went out of their way to make sure my stay was the best I ever had. I would go back in a heart beat .
