Spring break hotels in Gyeongju

We had an amazing stay here. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and super helpful- even booking taxis for our early morning train trips for us. The Hanok was deliciously warm in the very wintry minus 12 degrees celsius and we were provided food to prepare breakfast each morning including the most fabulous fresh strawberries. Highly recommend a stay here.

The hanok was a lovely place to stay. It was private and quiet. The hanok was spacious and had tons of room to relax. The host responded very quickly and was very accommodating. We were also offered a traditional Korean breakfast that was delivered at the time requested. We would definitely stay here again!

The absolutely BEST place to stay in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang, South Korea! The entire property was spotless clean and extremely comfortable and well maintained room. The location is no more than a 10 mintue walk into "town" and is located directly next to the most adorable coffee and pastry shop. The owner "Sang" could not hae been kinder and more helpful. I would highly encourage a stay at Soyeonjae hanokstay!

사장님께서 매우 친절하시고 펜션 내외부 관리를 매우 깨끗하게 잘 하시고 계십니다. 아이들 풀어놓고 놀기에 아주 좋고 수영장도 적당한 크기로 있어서 굉장히 만족스러운 경험이었습니다. 다음에 경주에 가게 된다면 다시 찾게 될 거 같습니다.

The rooms have Ondol, the Korean traditional heated floor. It was perfact for our cold rainy night. This place is newly remodeled and the owner herself decorated each rooms which look cozy, simple, and feminine. Me and my 4 friends stayed all together instead of 2 separate rooms, and she gave us all separate beddings which was perfact for us. It is at the walking distance to Bulguksa temple and restaurants and cafes are everywhere. We loved the owners hospitality.

It is only three minutes' walk from Gyeongju's most popular place, "Hwangridan-gil," and has provided me with the experience of Korean-style accommodation. The owner was very kind. It was a unique and fun experience for me.

My family's stay at this place was beyond excellent. When we got there, we can immediately tell the property was well taken care of and seemed managed with "love". Yes, I typed, Love. Landscaping around the yard and patio, little flowers, cute mailbox, a swing, etc. were meticulously done with care and gives really welcoming feeling. Location was perfect next to express bus station for our early morning departure. Breakfast good. Walkable to lots of the city highlights Lots of small nice touches in the room. The AC in our room was fan only , couldn’t get it to cool in spite of all the options on the wall and the remote. I asked the front desk two different days. They said they would look into it. I believe they did but cool never came on. With warm but not hot afternoons and cool nights, it was quite manageable.

My advice before the review. Caution taking taxis as to make sure they know where this place is located as I had a bad cab experience and got overcharged because my taxi driver had no idea and could not find and I ended up talking the last 7 minutes to get there when it was clear he did not know. 경주 불국사 바로 옆에 위치한 어 호텔은 착한 가격에 비해 전체적으로 정말 만족스러웠던 숙소였습니다. 불국사 근처라 주변에서 맛집을 가거나 쇼핑하기에 아주 좋았고, 큰길에서 살짝 안쪽에 자리 잡고 있어 밤에도 조용하고 가볍게 산책하며 돌아다니기 좋았습니다. 호텔 내에 전용 주차장도 마련되어 있어 차를 대기에도 무척 편리했습니다. 무엇보다 방 문을 열었을 때 깜짝 놀랄 만큼 방이 아주 넓고 깔끔했으며, 객실 안에 월풀 기능이 있는 하트 욕조가 있어 하루 종일 여행하느라 쌓인 피로를 싹 풀 수 있었습니다. 아침 식사는 빵과 시리얼, 구운 달걀, 커피, 오렌지 주스, 망고 주스로 구성된 컨티넨탈 블랙퍼스트라 아침을 간단하게 때우기에는 무난했지만 큰 기대를 하기는 살짝 아쉬웠습니다. 하지만 이 소소한 부분을 제외하면 전체적인 룸 컨디션과 위치, 주차 편의성까지 가격 대비 너무나 훌륭해서 전체적으로 아주 만족스러운 머무름이었습니다.
