"As described - very near the beach. A bit of a walk through some rough terrain, we chose to drive and walk from the parking lot most of the time. Air conditioning was great for our stay as it was HOT! The doorknob was not functional on the main entrance door - could only close the door via the keyed deadbolt. That was a bit of an inconvenience as we only had one key. A few bugs/spiders to deal with, but probably to be expected in that climate. Overall a great stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ferragudo. The property, in a quiet, quaint neighbourhood, was just what we were looking for and within 5 minutes' walk of the centre of Ferragudo via narrow, cobbled ruas , most barely a cars-width wide, and steep flights of steps. There there is a pocket-sized "supermarket" with all essential supplies, including fresh meat and vegetables and some superb wines. A city-sized supermarket is 30 minutes' away. The house was well equipped, everything about it...
