"Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in der Residence Lichtenvoorde verbracht. Die Anlage ist ruhig und hat eigentlich alles was man braucht an Infrastruktur. Es ist nur schade, dass der Park nicht groß genug ist für einen Brötchenservice oder ein Restaurant mit Frühstücksangebot. Allerdings war das Besteck bei Ankunft nicht sauber und man sollte die Silikonfugen im Bad mal erneuern. Das ist ein Aufwand von 1-2 Stunden und alle paar Jahre einfach notwendig. "

"Wir hatten leider das Pech in einem mehr als sanierungsbedürftigen Zimmer unterzukommen. Laut Hotelpersonal soll die erste Etage im nächsten Monat saniert werden. Das Erdgeschoss wurde bereits saniert, so die Aussage. Im Ergebnis hatten wir viele Flecken auf dem Teppich, Risse in den Wänden fleckige bzw. zerrissener Vorhänge, braune Flecken an den Fliesen im Bad, Silberfische in der Badewanne kein Warmwasserdruck in der Badewanne, leeres Duschgel, eine defekte Beleuchtung und ein unangenehmer...

"While the owners were very pleasant and the bed was comfortable, the floors in the room were disgusting. Lots of dirt on the floors with areas that were sticky. The bathroom floors were tile and very slippery when exiting the shower. There is no storage in the room for your clothes and the television sits below the bed making it impossible to view. The room could also use a mirror in addition to the small mirror above the bathroom sink. The sheet was dirty but was not changed by housekeeping....

"From the start to the end, our stay was amazing! Excellent service from the receptionist, room was huge (junior suite), bed was huge and super comfy, bathroom was a good size with a good shower, nice towels and shampoo etc. the toilet was in another room but turned out better due to privacy. Food to have a heated towel rail to dry our togs after our swim. The indoor swimming pool was so large, good temperature, very clean and in a luxurious room! Nice seats after the swim, dressing gowns a bonus, very warm room to sit in - excellent. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. So much food, all delicious and a great variety. The hot food was just warm both mornings - the only negative. Good, free car park. Would definitely stay again."
