"The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain."

"A wonderful place to disappear with your family and have one of the best experiences together. Great places to go out to dinner, has a good market to buy snacks for food during the day, friendly neighbors, and lastly an amazing beach to surf at. Felt very safe. The house was comfortable, cool, and convenient. Will come again!! "

"I cannot recommend this property highly enough! It's a secluded retreat nestled in the jungle, just steps away from what felt like our own private beach. We stayed in the air-conditioned couple's suite, featuring a cozy queen bed, a modern and fully stocked kitchen, and a bathroom with a spacious vanity and shower. "The property is beautifully renovated - the wood framework and every detail, makes the house feel very homey and private. Dennis was an excellent host, very attentive- made great recommendations and a delicious breakfast. There is no a/c, but it's so windy, there's honestly no need for it. It's actually much "colder" than expected for Pedasi. On your way to the house, there is a small "river" you need to pass through, so I would recommend to take a 4x4. "
