“The view from the room overlooking the bay is very nice, but the room has no air conditioning/heat pump so it is hard to enjoy as it is very hot. There also are no screens in the bathroom so every night there are many insects, several of them are quite large. It made for a much less enjoyable stay especially at this price point. At the very least, I would suggest they install screens so that there won’t be as many insects.”

“Die Unterkunft ist direkt am Meer das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war toll. Wir waren zu früh da und durften trotzdem sofort einchecken. 😊 Das Zimmer war auch sehr schön, wenn auch klein. In der Tür war leider eine Ritze, so dass Mücken und die Hitze immer rein können und der Weg zur Unterkunft ist extrem steil hier muss gut aufgepasst werden. Wir würden es trotzdem weiterempfehlen ☺️”

“Sunset Lodge truly did have one of the best views in Drake bay! It’s worth spending a little more to get the bungalow with the pool. It was great hanging out on the deck after a day at the beach or doing a guided activity. Also, if you like birding it’s a great spot to sit and watch! We had parrots and macaws flying over and landing in the trees right next to the bungalow. There were several local iguanas that live in the trees as well! We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin which had two AC minisplits……
