“Loved the neighborhood where the cottage is located, close to downtown Southern Pines. Cottage was just right for my husband and me. Comfortable and cozy. Our host was easy to contact if needed. Enjoyed the history of the area, seeing "American Graffiti" at the Sunrise Theatre, pizza at Sopies, in Southern Pines, the Tufts Arcives in Pinehurst, the Carolina Inn, and the Shaw House back in Southern Pines, the Sandhills Horticulture Garden, and delicious BBQ at the Pik-n-Pig at Gilliam-McConnell……

“It was easy to get in. The location was ideal. My dog particularly enjoyed the screened in balcony. The only issue we noted is the exterior stairs. One of the steps needs to replaced and moved when we stepped on it.”

“It was inexpensive and clean but the ice machine was broken and I thought the laundry would be in the unit, but no we had to walk to a hut and you had to load money on a card with your credit card !!!! It was not a 5 minute walk to the town center. There was a broom but no dust pan. The second bedroom is very small and the bathroom is no bigger than a phone booth and there is paint peeling in the shower . Also in the second bathroom on the wall above the commode there was damage on the wall……

“The studio Apt was very spacious and the host had stocked the home with everything you could need, iron, steamer (great to have for our wedding outfits), snacks, coffee, creamer and toiletries. Highly recommend the home.”

“This is my first negative review in 15 years. Unit was dirty and gross. My white socks were brown in 15 minutes of walking around, spiders in corners, mildew, mold and cracked tile in the shower. Floor was actually curved which is just odd. Burnt out light bulbs in kitchen. Screen door so loud I bought wd40 to grease the hinges. Staff was not responsive when asked to get the light bulbs switched out. Bugs in the unit. Staff was not responsive or accommodating when I asked for an early check in……
