Situated only a short stroll to the magnificent white sands of the Port Willunga swimming beach and renowned Star of Greece Restaurant. With McLaren Vale only a short drive away, you can access a large selection of cafes, restaurants, art galleys and the world’s best wineries. Shell Cottage is the ideal holiday or short getaway destination any time of the year.

Our stay at Shell Cottage was absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed our time there and it has honestly inspired us to visit Adelaide more often in the future. The backyard was just divine, such a beautiful space to relax and unwind. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like Easter eggs and a bottle of wine… which didn’t last long at all! The only downside during our stay was the number of wasps around the property. A few of us were unfortunately stung, so it’s something to be mindful of, especially if you’re travelling with young children. I was very relieved my one-year-old wasn’t stung. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the care the hosts put into the cottage.

We had a very nice stay at Shell Cottage. The cottage is lovely and the hosts were very good communicators and welcoming both to us and our two cocker spaniels. The back deck is made for pleasant outside meals. We would love to stay again.

This is such a beautiful property with all amenities you need for a relaxing stay by the beach.I love relaxing with a glass of wine on the deck or catching the winter sunshine as I read the paper in the garden.The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms are so cosy.
