"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. It took us until 945 pm before we were able to get a far from desirable accommodations. We were preparing to sleep in our car by that time. We have yet to receive a refund or response. There...

We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. "Absolutely fantastic!!!! The house is exactly as pictured and was immaculate. The view of the volcano is breathtaking and we really enjoyed seeing it every morning from our bedrooms. The communication was top tier and they even help you book tours and transportation should you need it the food recommendations did not disappoint. The house is very close to a ton of activities and short 5 min drive into the heart of La Fortuna. We would definitely book again! "
