"Property was beautiful with amazing views. We had the room with king bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the mornings which was eggs, pastries and fruit - all very tasty and fresh. Marta the host was accommodating and very friendly. They also have a pool which unfortunately we not able to enjoy as it was cool. "

"What a beautiful family-run Casa! Old-world charm meets with comfort and convenience. The common areas are so inviting and interesting to browse.
We looked forward to head over for breakfast and see what delights would be offered. Always well set up with an excellent variety.
Our room was nice and large - very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom amenities (towel warmer, double sized shower with great water pressure, etc.). "

"Beautiful location and friendly staff.
Less scent diffusers would be preferable, they are not allergy friendly and really not necessary in our opinion. "

"A beautiful view but not a great option if you have any kind of mobility issues. Be prepare to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs. No elevators anywhere. That qualification aside, a beautiful place ."
"My wife and I spent two nights at Monverde Wine Experience Hotel in October 2025 and it was a fantastic experience. The grounds are beautiful, and even though the harvest season had finished, the property was spectacular. They welcome you with a glass of sparkling wine which is a nice touch.
The property is comprised of several original buildings all renovated. We selected a prestige room and had one other room in our hallway. The room was huge! It overlooked the vines with a nice wood deck to relax.
The breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic!! (See photos) We didn't stay for dinner as we prefer to drive in to the towns so I can't comment on the dinner.
The pool area is small but has enough seating for 20 or so guests. We weren't there for the pool (only heated by sun outside) but grabbed a few hours at the end of the day and visiting wineries. They have a nice bar. If you want a seat get there early. The location means the pool is always in the shade while we were there in October.
Staff were fantastic. I reached out in advance for recommendations and they assisted. They even helped make a reservation for us in the town of Amarente.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a couple days in the Vinho Verde Region.
Only thing which could be improved upon, was the wine tasting experience we booked. There are 5 wines paired with small tastings. It had a short tour. Unlike tours at wineries, this was lacking and could have been better. Their wines are nice, but as a group"
"The staff was most welcoming, efficiant and helpful. The balcony with river view was wonderful. The complimentary bottle of wine in the room was special."
"The service at this hotel was unparallel. I needed a medication and they sent a driver to the pharmacy to pick it up and bring it back to the hotel. I also needed hiking boots and they went to a hiking shoe store bought me my size got them on sale and brought them to the hotel. Iâve never experienced such incredible service before at a hotel."
