We especially loved the balcony that overlooks the lake and chateau. The only downside is the apartment does not include linens/towels or internet, which was not communicated to us until after we paid and made the reservation. "We spent a pleasant week here in April with our three young children (5, 3 and 7 months) and our friends with their infants. The accommodation was flexible enough for all our different sleeping requirements and the garden was perfect for the children (secure and with play equipment). The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge/freezer and cupboards had plenty of room for all our food for the week. A great family home stay."

"This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "
