The pool is outside and seasonal so it was closed for our stay 11/2/25. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was ok, wish there was more fruit. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again.

Comfortable and clean

This was a family trip to visit the old neighborhood. Although we were only there overnight and left the next morning, we found the hotel clean, well taken care of and quiet. Would stay again when we come back to the area. We were meeting friends for breakfast, so did not partake in the hotel breakfast, but the breakfast room and lobby looked spacious and accommodating.

The woman at the front desk was robotic. Not unpleasant, but mechanical. The man cleaning the building was amazingly nice. The entrance of the place always smells clean, however, we stayed on the 4th floor, and it smelled like an old ashtray. Incidentally, the next morning the fire alarm went off. No fireman came. The staff were not interacting with the guests. It was just very weird. It wound up being someone smoking in one of the rooms. This must happen often, and the reason why there was no emergency presence (aside from a lone officer sent to check). Should there be a real emergency, I fear "the hotel that cried wolf" story would play out.

We personally would not stay here again. With dealing with a clogged toilet, a shower that leaked into the closet and really poor breakfast we will search for different accommodations next time we are in the area! The room was really clean and so was the rest of the hotel including the pool area which was super nice to see! We also really loved the location because it was a little off the main routes so it was very accessible but nice and quiet.
