"This home is spectacular. It is spacious, charming and truly beautiful. It is equipped with every possible convenience. The grounds are lovely. Poolside is truly enjoyable. The vista is magnificent. The property is also located ideally for visiting any number of beautiful and interesting towns in the area. Cortona is a stone's throw away, but we travelled easily to San Gimignano, Sienna, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Spello, Assisi and Perugia (to name a few). We can also not say enough about our hosts: they checked in regularly, made sure the rooms were set up to our liking, offered assistance when a medical visit was required, offered sightseeing advice etc. We truly felt cared for and had a lovely time!"

"The Villa presents even better than in the photos and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Each bedroom we accessed had an ensuite bathroom which just added to the luxe feel. My mature parents could have the one bedroom downstairs which was perfect, all other bedrooms are located upstairs. Worth mentioning the outdoor sun lounges have also been replaced (since the photos) and adds further to the resort feel. Would highly recommend! "

"Casa le celle is a rustic farmhouse, unpretentious but full of character, located in beautiful surroundings at the end of a valley. It is surrounded on three sides by high ground the slopes of which are given over to olive groves, woodland and scrub. Casa le Celle is ideally suited to those that enjoy being in a quiet, rural location and who appreciate the natural environment. We received a friendly welcome from the owner, Mauro, who lives close by and who was a very helpful host throughout our stay – thank you, Mauro. With regard to attractions, Lake Trasimeno is just a 20-minute drive away and there are several historic and architecturally interesting towns such as Assisi, Panicale, Perugia and Spello within easy driving distance. Terontola-Cortona station is a 10-minute drive away from where direct train services go to Florence, Naples and Rome. On a practical note, there are supermarkets and shops in Camucia and numerous restaurants in the historic centre of Cortona. Our preference, though, for eating out was to go to Tuoro sul Trasimeno. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return to Casa le Celle if visiting this part of Italy again."

"Room with a view! Very nice! Contrary to some other reviews, our room was nicely clean nd the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very generous and tasty with a very attentive and friendly server. Strolled around and found a wonderful gourmet restaurant nearby on the main road with a view of the lake. Only drawback was, being a Friday night, the nearby outdoor bar was a little loud until around midnight. "
