"Great location and a clean hotel with a friendly staff. We had a fantastic sea-view from the balcony. Room was huge with a space to chill on a double sofa as well as quiet balcony. Queen bed good to share and everyone will have a good night sleep. Plenty of options for breakfast, including healthy choices like fresh fruits or chia seeds for healthy eaters. Hot breakfast included in price (fresh omelettes and pancakes made while you wait). Hotel staff was very friendly however at busy times unable to serve all for breakfast and on some occasions some food/plates/mugs/cutlery etc were missing. No options for HB or All inclusive but they have restaurant on site. One negative part was that hotel was situated on top of the hill so to go to the beach or restaurants it is a bit of the climbing so not for all abilities nor children."

The location was wonderful nestled up in the hills with superb poolside views, tucked away from the hustle & bustle below but not so far when you want to join in... perfect for cosy rest and relaxtion which is just what we needed on this visit... Sesimbra is stunning we will return xx especially if we get to see our gracious and warm host again :) thanks so much, dear Günther! "

"18 of us stayed in Villa Santa Cruz, 13 adults and 5 kids. The villa was lovely and spacious, lots of bedrooms for us all. The kitchen was great, well stocked with all kitchen utensils, had 2 fridges, one for food and one for drinks, think another oven would have been a great asset for the size of the kitchen. The outside area was also lovely, lots of space for outside dinning. The pool was a good size, both kids and adults had a great time in it, especially as it was so hot the last few days. The only setback for us was there wasnt enough sunbeds, but there was plenty of chairs on the decking area. The villa supplied pool towels which was a bonus. The BBQ was great and got used a few times. Theres not much around the area, just a couple of cafes and McDonalds. You could get a taxi to Sesimbra town and beach which took about 10mins and cost on average Euros 5, there were plenty of Ubers. Sesimbra beach is lovely, the sand is soft and the water is clear and shallow. There are lots of lovely restaurants to choose from. The supermarket is only 10minutes walk away. Overall i would recommend staying at Villa Santa Cruz"

"Jose met us on arrival and sat down with us providing personal recommendations for things to do in the area and restaurants. We loved the villa, and only wish we our visit could have been during the warmer months when spending time in the lovely pool would be a must rather than early January when we stayed. We enjoyed visiting the village of Sesimbra and the Castle of Sesimbra. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again in the future."
