"I arrived after a long day of traveling at 4:30 am. Breakfast was ready at at 5am and it was wonderful. Ate a quick breakfast then went to sleep. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and kind. Definitely worth the money to stay here. "

"Our recent 8-night stay at the Echo Lake Cottage was an absolute delight! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to Jana and Tammy our Host’s prompt and friendly communication. They even allowed us to check in early after a long drive, which was greatly appreciated. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described, with stunning views of Echo Lake that made every day a truly relaxing delight.The location is a perfect balance of serene and convenient, just a short drive to downtown Presque Isle for supplies or dining, yet peaceful enough to feel like a true escape. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to board games that kept us entertained with our grandkids. This was our second stay here and it won’t be our last if the cottage is available on our next trip. The cottage is a true gem, perfect for families looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!"

"Everything was as described. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Easy access with freshly mowed lawn. Excellent location to Caribou and points north. "

"For a cheap hotel it was decent. My only complaint is when you first go into the lobby, it stinks. The room was comfortable and the employees were kind. "

"Very clean and decorated perfectly as a lake house. The kitchen was very well equipped, even having spices for cooking. The beds were comfortable and made with high quality bedding. The property has Internet, cable TV in every bedroom and the living room. The backyard has a large grassy private lawn and covered porch with plenty of seating, a propane grill and fire pit and private access to the lake. Portage lake is dreamy -- perfect for paddling. We hope to return next year for a longer stay. A week isn't long enough."

"Absolutely perfect We fell in love with the cabin immediately, such a well planned out space. It feels as if you are deep in the woods, but in reality you are just minutes from everything, perfect compromise. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. Beds are super comfy, everything was extra clean. "
