Perfect location for a city break to Athens. Check in is super easy, the instructions are so clear and easy to follow. We stayed in a room with internal window only and it was absolutely fine. Air con perfect and the rooms also faultless and super clean. Only thing that lets the hotel down is that the walls are a little thin so you hear the cleaners and other hotel occupants. It did not really affect our stay, was only a minor inconvenience, and I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely

i've read some negative reviews before booking. But i really can say that it's worth staying here. We stayed in a room on the third floor. Everything was fine. There was everything that you need in a standard hotel room. Silent, clean. Comfortable bed. Automated and very easy check-in. Location is perfect. You can reach all the popular places by walking. There are lots of places to eat or drink near the hotel. Briefly, i love this hotel.

We had the suite with a balcony that offered an incredible view to the Parthenon but there was also another level which was accessible to all guests on top of our room and that was noisy late at night. The immediate surrounding comprised some empty buildings that were covered in graffitis. That being said, the location, once pass the graffitis on the small street is an ideal location, with nice restaurants around, shops, etc. and is of a walkable distance from all major attractions, tour buses and public transportation. I would go back any time. Note that there is a small fridge but no coffee machine in the rooms. But plenty of coffee shops around, some open 24h.

The staff was very helpful. The help arranged for the taxi to the airport very early in the morning. When call or contact, they always address the issues. At night the property can be noisy (people having loud conversations on the corridors and the entrance). This property doesn't have a front desk assistance so this doesn't help with this issue. very close to restaurants, the train station, the market and metro.

The hotel is in a great location, close to some major tourist attractions as well as almost countless excellent restaurants and bars. As for the staff - if there was an Olympic event for providing excellent performance - the staff at Athensred would surely get the Gold!

Hidden Gem

The hotel does not have parking space but there are affordable parking lots nearby. The location is very good, walking distance to restaurants, Acropolis, etc.

The rooms open into a large room that is an echo chamber any sound or voices are amplified you can even hear the front door open and close all through the night people are coming and going if you are a light sleeper you will not get any sleep here !!!
