Out in the boonies
Getting there on narrow, winding roads was scary. Accomodations are suitable for only 2 adults even though it advertises for 4 (bed + love seat sofa sleeper).Only 2 chairs at tiny table, but 4 lounge chairs on deck. It needs a side table by love seat & on deck to have a place on which to set a drink. No place to put clothes. Bathroom has room for at least 2 more shelves for toiletries, but there are only 2 shelves tor towels & pillows. Parking is a distance from the rental, so lugging everything on a rutted, rocky space + walking up the stairs is arduous. Stagnant run-off creek behind enough with all the rain this spring. Not suitable accomations for children. "Kitchen" clumsy with microwave, airfryer, toaster oven, & 2 burner portable hot plate (one burner barely heats). BUT it's clean, attractive, quiet, lots of bird calls & wildlife. Good tasting water, too. Be prepared for a long, scary drive into town though. Especially scary at night.

Flawless escape to paradise!
Flawless escape to paradise! Navigated to the picturesque location effortlessly via google maps. Serene atmosphere and immaculate premises enhanced our romantic stay in nature. Spacious accommodations featuring a comfy bed & remarkable balcony vistas stole our hearts; we even spotted beautiful wildlife nearby amidst profound peacefulness! Definitely will return as a couple or even with friends because the other cabins are just as nice and conveniently located near each other. Great common area for those to gather and sit by fire pits, play Corn hole and horseshoes.

Beautiful setting. Cute lodge nestled around a tree. Deep cleaning needed on moldy shower curtain and rugs. Microwave table about to collapse. The trees rubbed against roof making such a great noise my husband ran outside in the middle if the night worried about intruders. We could not sleep after that due to the noise. Check out is 10AM. Very early on vacation. No coffee provided. Cute place just a few items need attention.

Nice Weekend Getaway
This cozy tree house was perfect for a weekend stay while attending a concert in Austin. It wasn't a bad drive from the cabin into Austin (despite road work) and it was a pleasant place to return to for the remainder of the weekend. One big surprise was watching a stream form a waterfall in front of the cabin after a heavy rain. The only drawback was that the zero-gravity chairs on the deck all needed new elastic threading. All four chairs had broken elastic threading. We didn't feel safe using them and the outdoor view was part of the draw in booking this cabin. The cabin itself was very comfortable for two people.

We were prepared to have a great time given the activities we had planned and what we expected of the accommodations. The activities were great; the place was not great. The air conditioner did not work well at all. We called the main number but the signal was too weak. With that in mind, when you advertise adequate WIFI and phone signal it ought to be so. We could not use the WIFI, even after we contacted the main desk and were given a different password and link to use. At no time during our stay did the internet work. We ended up going into town to sit at the Starbucks to get some work done. Going back to the air conditioning, it is not adequate for that space. We have a construction company and use mini splits a lot. Either that Daiken unit is not correct for that cabin or it is a few pounds short of freon. It was miserable until about 2am trying to sleep there. The next day they offered to send a technician out there to look at the unit. I didn't care to have someone there while we were not. A day late and a dollar short. I am afraid I cannot recommend your place to anyone I know for these reasons. The check in and administrative support were great. The after hours phone was not answered and no call returned.

Perfect Getaway Cabin
This cabin was perfect for the two of us. We wanted a weekend away from our stressful lives and it was perfect for just that. There was no service inside the cabin besides wifi, and it truly allowed us to unplug and relax. We also enjoyed what Dripping Springs had to offer!!

The getaway I needed
I have a pretty busy life, and have experienced a lot of stress over the past year, and not having a vacation in several years, I decided I wanted to get away and just relax and do nothing. This was the perfect place to do just that. (Although I was also delightfully surprised by how much I enjoyed the town of Dripping Springs.) The cabin was clean, well built, and had a very comfortable aesthetic. The location was very quiet, and just enough of an escape from my hectic life. The owners had everything in the cabin that we would have possibly needed. I would definitely return. Also, I have to mention the cute tadpoles in the water feature! As a lover of animals I loved looking at them every morning. Thank you again!

Overall nice little tree house
The tree house was super clean and very pretty, the lock on the door didn’t lock but they came and fixed it while we were out and about within a couple of hours of letting them know. Unfortunately there was absolutely no cell service using cricket wireless but that’s not their fault and the internet wasn’t great but that wasn’t a deal breaker for us. It’s a very nice place to go unplug and close to many wineries and breweries and distilleries. Beautiful little town!

Nice Quiet Getaway
We really enjoyed the quietness of the property. Our unit looked just like the pictures. Outside games were a nice touch. The water pressure and temperature was touch and go, however it was a scenic escape. Everything else was great, enjoyed watching the sun rise and sun set from the deck! Would recommend.

Nice treehouse getaway
We really enjoyed our stay in the garden "tree house." We loved the views, beautiful tree popping into the deck and creek views from the porch. Being the last one in a row of three made it very private and the cascading waterfalls were very peaceful. Our young kids (1&3) loved the creek, the bean bag toss game and the communal fire pit we used to roast marshmallows. We went during the week and it was very quiet as not all the homes (4) were full. We also found it conveniently located to the things we wanted to do with nice drives on minimally trafficked roads. The cons we have are minimal but prevented a 5 star review: 1) septic is right behind house and off gasses occasionally producing unpleasant aromas. While not overwhelming, not awesome. 2) fan from previous reviewer complaint was still quite dirty. While this didn't bother me that much the dust on the night stand did as is it was evident the surfaces were not well cleaned prior to check-in. The area rug was not exceptionally clean either. However, that said the rest of the cabin was clean to satisfaction. Overall, we would stay here again and recommend a nice Texas hill country getaway here.

Issues with property
Overall was pretty good. However, we had three issues: 1. Ceiling fan blades were terribly dirty...looked like they had never been cleaned! 2. Roku TV was very hard to operate. Could not get standard channels, and when we did...the picture was very fuzzy. Also very difficult to understand how to operate tv...as we have never had Roku. Needed to have maintenance man come out to show us how to operate, but when he finally was able to come to unit, we were gone. 3. The last night the heat from the heater did not work and we froze. Had to put clothes on in bed and use every blanket available to try to stay warm. Instructions on using heater not clear.

Wonderful Retreat
The cabin was a perfect getaway for my husband and me. We enjoyed the beautiful trees and the deer that visited us. It is just a few miles away from Pedernales State Park, which has great trails for hiking. About 20 minutes away is Jonson City, which has several good restaurants and historic sites. Wineries are everywhere. The cabin was spotless, and perfect for a couple.
