"The hostess was a wonderful person and the historic hotel in historic centro Gijon had several great opportunities that we appreciated. My only negative comment is about the bed we slept in. It is very old and needs to be replaced."

"I had an amazing short stay at the hotel - the staff was so exceptionally nice and accommodating, allowing me to check-in at 11:30am already. The room was on 4th floor, inward looking, quiet and great. The location is fantastic to explore the old town and go to the beach. There are plenty of dinning places around and bars. I would highly recommend this property. "

"The accommodations were very nice, it had everything we needed. The biggest issue was the exterior noise. The condo is above a restaurant that stays open until 1 am every evening & across the alley is an Indian restaurant that stays open until midnight. The noise and music were unbelievable. Bring earplugs. Also the key to the outside door is extremely finicky, it takes several tries to get it unlocked. The rental company was not very communicative. It took a few days to get a response to my questions before I arrived. If you stay here, be aware of the noise!"
