I would recommend investing in more outdoor chairs to sit on the deck and possibly removing the gaming PC and placing a TV or a stereo system for some music choices in the front of the house. Neighborhood was very calming and quiet and also close to where we were hiking. The beds were SUPER comfortable as well. We all slept great!"

"We enjoyed the most wonderful week at the Huckleberry Cabin. We love the peaceful surroundings, the porch swing, the hammocks, the hot tub nestled in a lovely garden, the many beautiful artistic touches on the property. We were able to really relax. The hosts provided everything we needed to make a fire in the fire pit, so we relaxed by the fire and ate our messy, delicious S'mores. We loved the sandwiches and ice cream at the nearby Olympic Bakery. Each day we found a beautiful new place to go...

"Everything was as expected and more! There was two days of shrimp fishing and a fisherman who had spoken to us brought us a huge bag of 5-7” shrimp for our enjoyment. We watched two orcas playing for hours from the front porch picnic table while having morning coffee! There were several outlets nearby to the Olympic Park and we saw a herd of Roosevelt Elk at the Jefferson wildlife reserve. Most of all, our hosts kindness and respect plus the cute touches in the cabin really eclipsed the natural...

"Upon arrival we knew we’d be in for a fabulous relaxing week. We stayed for 4 days. Our kids stayed busy playing on the lake, kayaking, and skipping rocks. "We found the cabin to be cozy and comfortable. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. "The room was as described and quite rustic. We could see gaps around the door and A/C unit which was fine at first, but when getting ready for bed we saw a disturbing large spider walk across the floor. I didn’t get a picture of that @$$ but my estimate is that it had a nickel/quarter sized body with some legs for the fashion runway. Long story long, we decided to sleep in the car instead of the room because of that freakishly large spider trying to provide an unrequested turndown service."
