"I quickly searched for a last minute one night stay that wasn't a hotel chain. We wanted an updated motel (my husband likes to be able to park the motorcycle outside the door) and this place checked ALL of our boxes. We wanted something quiet, cozy and close to a restaurant as we prefer to walk to and from dinner. This motel was so charming. The continental breakfast was creative and adorable. To our surprise, our economy room had been totally renovated recently and was perfectly comfortable and super cute. I feel so fortunate that we found it and we would absolutely return. "

"The dome home was a relaxing weekend getaway to celebrate our 40th year of existence. One caveat is that I can't remember if the listing mentions that one of the bedrooms is up some very steep stairs so be aware of that when booking. Also, because of the nature of a concrete structure it did hold in some heat in the upper rooms. There were fans and window AC units provided in several rooms. There were also lots of interesting nooks and crannies. "

"A wonderful little hotel in what was once a family home. The hotel has personality and a wonderfully cozy ambiance. The host was very personable and polite, and was a joy to converse with. The room had great personality, and each room has their own individual style. Our room had plenty of space to move around, and did not feel stuffy or confined. The bed was an incredibly comfortable four-poster. We will definitely mark this as a hotel to revisit whenever we are in the area. "

"This is a beautiful, historic property and pretty consistent with the photos on the website. The room I had was just as pretty with some antique furnishings, but of course in person you notice that it is an old building. The room was a great size, and I loved the hardwood floors. The bathroom was also large and you are provided a sundry of items for convenience. The bed was comfortable, though it did seem to have a center depression. The only other issue I had was that though the the showerhead seemed to have a dial to adjust pressure, I was not able to. Overall the property is in great condition. The staff were welcoming, and the breakfast was outstanding, served in their traditional, historic, and charming restaurant space."
