"We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. "We had a fantastic time staying at the Timbuktu Chalet. The location is great - very close to multiple ski areas, incredible hiking, and lake Superior destinations. The place itself was clean, no fuss, kitchen was fully stocked, and we made use of both the hot tub and sauna! Aaron was a fantastic host, and even gave us homemade jam as a Christmas surprise."

"Well maintained condo in an old ski resort. Very clean and well supplied kitchen and bathroom. Host provided clear check in instructions and also checked in to make sure our stay was going well, which was nice! The towns in the area had plenty of places to eat and there was a Walmart a quick drive down the road. Plenty of waterfalls in the area to check out as well."

"Came up to the UP for a weekend ski trip and this year despite the lack of snow had a good day of skiing at Snow River in sweatshirts! The campfire Lodge was perfect for our family of 6. The bedrooms are close together upstairs, which is fine for a family and great to have two bathrooms. The kitchen is very nice and the dining area was great for playing cards. "Our dogs loved the yard and home comfort of the cabin. Very close to quite a few waterfalls, the harbor and the Copper Peak ski jump. Awesome to bike from to all those spots or hike. Highly recommend if you have dogs. Sad we didn't get to try the pub next door, but we will next time!"
