"The rooms were so well thought out and each unique in its own way. With each rooms coming with lovely robes and slippers. And the complimentary soaps were delightful. To the grad and go breakfast bags put together. But the must impressive part of my stay was the incredible staff. Mostly ran by one wonderful woman who made it her mission to be most gracious and hospitable to myself and my family. I will be awaiting my next visit to the Roxbury motel. "

"The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river and then day tripping to grand adventures to hike near the Hudson River Valley, or in the Catskills. Woodstock is just a two minute drive. Good shopping, dining, and there is a main grocery store. We highly recommend this location and this cottage!!! A bonus for us was the additional "host" doodle 😃 as we were missing our own pets. A little ball catch-n-retrieve warms the spirit . Thanks Jane!!"

"The hotel was very nice. If you are looking for peace and quiet, look no further. You have a peaceful trout stream that flows behind it. Only downside is no major amenities near by. "

"Property was absolutely gorgeous quiet, staff was accommodating. Our room was perfect with the Mountain View and tub. The restaurant had a very small menu and food was not that great. We had to order 2 appetizers and 5 dinners just get to full. Overall satisfied. "
