Wonderful place, in a gorgeous natural setting. I'm so happy I found this hotel. So relaxing just sitting and chilling on the lovely back lawn, set in a lush valley looking up at the majestic rolling mountains. Fabulous stay!

I love how rustic the decor is, the dog friendly policy was my ultimate favorite. My puppy, boyfriend and I had a marvelous time and stay. The staff was wonderful helped me with trails, the restaurant food was delightful and so was the bar. Will be coming back!!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay, we’re already thinking of visiting again! The property and room were extremely clean. The staff were very polite and kind. The on property restaurant was very convenient and the staff were very nice. Get the room with the Mountain View, it’s so worth it!

The location is perfect but you need a car . The restaurants near are two or three. Best place to walk and enjoy restaurants if you don’t go kicking is Woodstock.

This was an extremely delightful stay for end of summer! Great setting with beautiful grounds, easy to get anywhere in Hunter and all the other nearby towns. Stayed in a King loft which was great, lots of room to relax, very clean and well maintained. It was very handy to have a mini-fridge and microwave, but also enjoyed dinner downstairs at the Tavern. The complementary breakfast hit just right before hitting the road for the day.

It was a great stay. We checked in and there were warm chocolate chip cookies in the lounge. Our room was unexpectedly large, with a sitting area and great view of the mountains. The breakfast that was included had fruit, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, yogurt in addition to all that you need for a long day of hiking. There was also a great restaurant 1 min down the road, german place, that served delicious foos. Great value. I would definitely stay here again.
