"We traveled form New York and needed a place to stay for a night. The best choice I could make. Beautiful hotel with AC! Spacious rooms and close to any shops and restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone! Also they give you a toothbrush"

"The room was clean but small, and our shower was particularly cramped because of a cutout for ducting. The staff were generally helpful but one front desk person gave us a weird vibe, as if he wondered why we were even staying there. Additionally, housekeeping came quite late in the day, sometimes after 4pm when we would have liked a siesta."

"Lors de mon séjour à l'hôtel Xoton Poblenou j'ai apprécié l'amabilité du personnel et la propreté des lieux. Cependant, il semble y voir des difficultés avec la fréquentation de la piscine. Elle est très petite et très fréquentée. Lors de mon arrivée à la piscine, on m'a dit que je devais payer 45 Euros pour un lit ou chaise longue et que si il n'y en avait plus, je devais consommer pour 45 euros pour avoir droit à la piscine. À l'accueil, on m'a dit que j'avais été mal informé. Je n'ai pas pu vérifier car j'étais à la fin de mon séjour. Peut être que j'ai été mal informé par une nouvelle employée, mais... si l'accès à la piscine est important pour vous , il faut vous informer avant de choisir cet hôtel."

"Room could use a vacuum but sheets were clean and it was clean enough that we were able to sleep comfortably. Staff was helpful and breakfast was really good, friendliest staff was certainly the breakfast staff."

"We had a wonderful stay at Gran Hotel Barcino! We were traveling with two young kids and arrived very late at night, but the check-in staff made us feel very welcome and were incredibly friendly and speedy. It was such a relief after a long journey. Our room was clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh. The kids especially enjoyed the little museum about the city in the hotel lobby. The location was excellent—right in the heart of Barcelona, making it very convenient for exploring the city with our family. The staff were helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend Gran Hotel Barcino for families traveling with young children!"
