Lovely spot near Gràcia which is a great neighbourhood to wander round. The pool rooftop was lovely and a real lifesaver in the heat! And the staff were great - really nice and helpful. My bedroom was pretty comfortable but the bed and decor could have done with a bit of an upgrade; it didn’t live up to the photos I’d seen beforehand. I found the building to be noisy, mostly all the pipes and extractors making lots of noise. I don’t know if I just got unlucky in my room or if that’s the case everywhere! I did appreciate the inside screen door which blocked out any noise other guests were making though.

We had a nice stay here in a family room which consisted of a separate room for our 2 grown kids. We also had a nice balcony with a table outside. Very roomy for the price! We did have a few tiny ants in the room (yes they were only ants) but they didn't bother us. We would stay here again.

I stayed at Astoria for 5 days and it was ak easy walk to major places like Casa Mila, Lambla. So many restaurants and cafes to choose from within walking distance. Tey going to Cheri which is beside the hotel. Also if you need and early morning coffee there is a 365 cafe thats a 5 min walk from the hotel.

It was overall a pleasant stay, but our cards to our room repeatedly stopped working so we would get all the way to our room and then have to go back downstairs to have it reset everyday. The staff were very kind and pleasant overall.

The hotel is beautiful, the foyer, the staircase, the art on the walls, the restaurant, all are beautiful. My only complaint is that noise from other rooms travels through the A/C ducts and it’s very loud. I could hear ALL the conversations from next door in both the bathroom and bedroom, made me veryUncomfortable.

Loved this property. Room was clean and spacious. My only issue is with the gentleman at the front desk when we checked in. He was very rude and short with us for no reason at all. Definitely seemed to not be enjoying his job. So as long as you don’t talk with the staff you’ll have a wonderful time!!

Good bits - staff friendly and location. Bad bits - worst nights sleep ever, all five nights. No carpet in hallways or rooms and no insulation between rooms causing lots of noise to travel in our room. Every time someone spoke in the hallway, turned on a shower, a tap, closed a door, opened a door, flushed the toilet or dropped something you could hear it, at all hours of the night causing fatigue after 5 nights. It’s a shame as the property has potential but the lack of sleep each night did it for me. I definitely would not return unless they fix all their sound proofing and noise issues (not just my room, the whole hotel). Breakfast was okay.

The hotel is in a great area, the room has a good size and was very clean. The bathroom is a bit tired, access to the shower can be a problem if you have mobility issues. Members of staff are very helpful
