It is a wonderful hotel ideally located in a very beautiful small Italian city. It has a park like setting that contributes to a relaxing visit. And its restaurant on premise provides wonderful food and wine making for an excellent end of day experience

Five stars? Not even close. Closer to a motel 8 with a nice lobby. Peeling paint in the shower, stained floors, no hot water one morning and yes.. there are bugs. Have bites all over my legs. Coffee in room is two packets of freeze dried nescaffe. What 5 star hotel would have any of those?
Not sure what else to say but to read the other comments and be assured that they’re true.

The property was very clean and well maintained, and interspersed amongst apartment units of residents who live in Locorotondo. These properties are all configured differently as our friends were in a different unit and it was configured in a much better layout. The stairs in our unit were very steep and narrow, with a low bulkhead -my husband hit his head several times when coming down the steps. At the end of the hallway in our unit, was a full length mirror propped against the wall and behind it was a door. Upon further investigation, I discovered the the door was unlocked and led into the neighbour's apartment and there was no way for us to lock the door as our keys didn't work for the lock!
Aside from that, it was a fun place to stay as it was in the center of the old town which was fun to wander around in. Parking is a bit of a hassle as it is located in a ZTL area so you can't drive close to the apartment to drop off luggage or groceries, you must park several blocks away and carry your belongings in. Definitely not a rental suited for anyone with mobility issues.

We thought this hotel was charming. On arrival we received a friendly and efficient check in by reception. Our room was clean and we appreciated the very effective air conditioning and the small fridge in room. Breakfast was lovely and varied. Hotel was in a great location. Easy to park and near good shops and restaurants. Recommend!
