### Lake View in Blevio (La Dolce Vista)

Located in Blevio, among the charming historic cobbled streets of the village, the lovely three-room apartment LA DOLCE VISTA is the ideal solution for those who wish to immerse themselves in the authentic atmosphere of Lake Como.  
  
Guests are welcomed into a comfortable living area, divided into a relaxation corner with a single sofa bed and TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, perfect for enjoying pleasant moments together (Please note: the sofa bed will not be prepared upon arrival, as we believe it is fair that you can use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows, and blankets in the wardrobe/shelf closest to the sofa). Next to it, the sleeping area includes two bedrooms: one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both equipped with spacious wardrobes to help you organize your stay. The dark wooden floors, the decorative brick fireplace, and the original period doors give the apartment a timeless charm, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The real highlight of the apartment, however, is the large windows, which offer a stunning panoramic view of Lake Como and its intense colors, with a direct view over Cernobbio, its elegant lakeside promenade, and the famous Villa d’Este. The accommodation is completed by a classic-style bathroom with a shower.  
  
Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.  
  
We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.  
  
The apartment is located within a characteristic pedestrian village and does not have private parking. Guests must leave their car in the free parking areas along the road and then walk a few meters to reach the apartment.  
  
Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

The village of Blevio offers an authentic and relaxing atmosphere, characterized by historic alleys, panoramic views, and charming corners overlooking Lake Como. Here you will find the picturesque Mosaic Park, perfect for a walk among artworks surrounded by greenery, as well as the lakeside pier, ideal for refreshing swims during the summer. For a high-quality dining experience, the renowned Momi restaurant is a must-visit, thanks to its beautiful terrace with direct lake views. A short distance away is the village of Torno, from which ferries and scheduled boats regularly depart, ideal for exploring the lake and reaching iconic destinations such as Bellagio, Varenna, and Menaggio. Just a few minutes’ drive away is also the city of Como, with its elegant historic center, shops, restaurants, cafés, and all main services, as well as the famous lakeside promenade and the funicular railway to Brunate, offering spectacular views.  
  
How to get there:  
  
By car, from the A9 motorway take the Como Centro exit and continue along Via Cecilio and Via Napoleona, then pass through the city of Como. Take Via Torno (SP583) and set your GPS: the apartment can be reached in about 15 minutes.  
  
By train, from Como Lago station take bus C130 and get off at the stop “Blevio - Frazione Sopravilla” (6 stops, about 7 minutes). From there, walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the apartment.

Beautiful accommodations, but the access to the apartment is a journey! Parking was also not easy. The place is accessed up a narrow road with tight turns, so you'll need to have a car that is smaller/ good for that. We arrived late in the evening and could not find close street parking. The available spots were all taken. We had to walk about a half mile (.8 km) from where we parked to the place. We dropped our bags off at the end of the road, but even from the closest parking spot, be prepared to carry your bags up a hill, through a walkway, down a staircase-- quite a trek! If you're up for that journey or have packed light, it is definitely worth it! The apartment is spacious with beautiful views of the lake. The place was spotless, very clean, with comfortable beds and supplies for cooking. The wifi seemed a bit spotty; I ended up having to use my cellular data, as things wouldn't load. I wouldn't have wanted to rely on it for working remotely.
