"We had a family reunion up in northern Wisconsin and i needed a place that was close to my uncles place but also allowed dogs and this place was perfect! It was close to everything from Walmart, to downtown, shops! The house was very nice and perfect for 3 adults and my pup. It was great having a fenced in yard so she didnt need to be on a tie out and she was at home during our stay! the house was very clean inside and out! the deck off the siding doors was perfect for morning coffee. the cabin is set in the woods and your not around other houses which is an added bounce as well! I would absolutely stay there again and also tell others to stay there too"

"Well-maintained, nicely-furnished and clean property that could benefit from some updating. Adrian was right on top of things with a minor problem and exhibited genuine concern for his guests. Only downsides are proximity to highway and long walk down to lake (if you are a senior or have a disability). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. "

"A beautiful Vrbo rental!!! Nicely decorated and felt like home away from home. Comfortable beds/pillows, blankets to wrap in to watch TV. The amenities offered were impressive; didn't feel like I had to go on a shopping trip before I started my vacation (toilet paper, napkins, paper towel, soaps, crock pots,griddle, blenders), LOVED the blackstone grill, wood for the fire, games to play. Nice fireplace and outside patio, plenty of chairs. The kayaks provided great entertainment!!! The viewing of wildlife from the eagles, ducks, deer and otter was enjoyed by all. Fun on the food ball table. Great laundry facilities. Great home!! Had a great week!"

"This was our 3rd time staying in the awesome house with our family. The house fit us perfectly! We all had our space/room and we just love it! The bedrooms aren’t particularly big but that didn’t matter because we were only in them to sleep. The beds are super comphy too! The fishing on Mercer Lake was fantastic. We enjoyed the deck area for morning coffee, reading , playing games or just relaxing. We miss the lake view! Doesn’t matter if you’re on the main floor or in the lower level you get a great view of the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked with absolutely everything you’ll need for cooking too. (Our family loves to cook). The lower level was my personal favorite. My room was down there. There’s a kitchenette down there and I set up a mini coffee/tea bar for my husband and I which was perfect for that first morning wake up cup. I set up a puzzle on the table that we all worked on throughout the week. The arcade game was super fun to show our kids we still got it! I think I was top scorer on Galaga! You can go right outside from the lower level which was so convenient and again the view is lovely. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and of course the boat. Firepit area is large and had plenty of seats for our family. There is easy access to get in the water too. Perfect is you have younger kids because you have a private swim area. We brought our own tubs and enjoyed floating out in the lake which is very clean. We hope to come back again!"

"Wonderful, relaxing, fun week up north!Between lazy mornings on the deck, tubing, fishing, yard games, and bonfires, my extended family (3 generations now!) had a wonderful time making memories.The home is spacious and lovely and includes everything you need for a large gathering. The property owners are welcoming, very responsive, and provide lots of information about the property and surrounding area.This is our 2nd time at the property and we will definitely come visit again sometime!"

"This property is perfect for a large family to comfortably enjoy the living quarters. The 8 bedrooms are at one end of the building allowing “the littles” to go to sleep earlier than the adults with no need to worry about making too much noise to disturb their slumber. Both the main level and lower level have a family room with a tv and the lower level has a pool table. A wine/beer cooler in the bar area, in addition to the fridge, came in handy. The lake isn’t crowded with fellow boaters so we boated, tubed, and fished at our leisure. The dock was nice and the children could walk right into the lake from shore. It obviously isn’t a sandy beach but nice with water shoes. The creek that is on the property adds an element of enjoyment for the children. We spotted turtles, otters, ducks, and eagles. The property is on a busy highway but that isn’t a danger for the children as the very large parking lot and landscaping offer a large buffer from the highway and all activities (outdoor patio, two campfire areas, creek and lake are in the backyard.) The staff that answers the 800 # number when you call are very kind and the maintenance man was prompt and knowledgeable (we had one bed that needed repair to its mattress support boards) upon arrival. Issue was fixed that day and overall the beds and pillows were comfortable. Our only complaint was inadequate supply of: toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags and paper towels - plans to bring some or shop for supplies."

"The owners sent great information on the home and easy self checkin information. We arrived to a beautiful and clean space. Each day we enjoyed coffee on our deck, watching the chipmunks and other wildlife - all while watching the lake ripples and boats. It was very peaceful and great for the spirit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a hearty breakfast. Blender, toaster, coffee maker and microwave, plus a full size stove and over. The refrigerator and freezer made bringing in groceries easy to store. There were plenty of dishes, flatware and cooking utinsils.The open plan home and high vaulted ceilings made the home more interesting. There were views of the lake from almost every window. Plenty of plush towels in the new and spacious bathroom was a real plus after a day of exploring.The kayak and paddle boat are free to use and the dock is a few steps away to watch turtles and loons in the water.We loved our stay at Eagle’s Neat and highly recommend it for anyone that wants to enjoy the area but not be directly in town. "

"We had a great stay at this property! (4 adults and 2 children) The house was clean and cozy. Everything was in great shape and felt even bigger than the pictures. The walk down to the dock is magical, and we loved taking the canoe around the lake. We had deer in the yard every day, and the location is conveniently located close (but not too close) to everything.Would definitely stay here again!"

"This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing. "

"Spent four days in Minocqua at the Knotty Barrel Lodge. I have been spending summers in Minocqua for 30 years, there is nothing like this place. Perfect location, walking distance to town, easy for boat rental. There is a great supper club downstairs with a friendly staff (btw: noise from the restaurant is not an issue at all)The property is clean and so unique. The beds are crazy comfortable, bunk room in great condition with lockers and vanity mirrors, showers and bathrooms in perfect shape. There is a huge bar to sit at, and a full kitchen with every appliance you can possibly imagine (including waffle maker, coffee machine, cereal bar, huge fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher, etc etc). The kids loved the arcade games, ping pong, pool table, and access to a pier for boating and pictures. The Outdoor firepit on the patio overlooking the lake was very fun post dinner. Highly recommend!! The owners are so nice, accommodating, and available to answer any questions."

"We arrived late and we did not have any issues in getting in. The place was very clean and appealing. Only concern was the bathroom size being too small and a lot of creaking sound from upstairs. Sound insulation could help. The kitchen amenities was great and we loved the tea. Not much to add for we came in late and left after getting up. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
