“We communicated specifics with the owner, so won't go into full details. The location is great, but that doesn't overcome that it was uncomfortably dirty in many ways. AC went out, so with temps in the 90s the inside was a balmy 82...all night and no way to open the windows. The bottom line is, with this booking there was a higher than normal cleaning fee. When we arrived we expected the place to be spotless. It was the opposite.This is also a duplex. That was not clear to us when we booked.……

We spent the first day and a half of our stay, cleaning the place. It is clear that this property has not been inspected or maintained for cleanliness in a long time. “There’s no way we can adequately describe how wonderful a place this is! My husband’s first words were how big the cabin is. Pictures don’t do it justice. It is obviously beautifully and very thoughtfully laid out. There’s the sleeping area, but also a whole living room space as well. We had a good time reading, playing guitar and studying in front of the beautiful window! Loved that we could get up and make a cup of coffee right away without leaving our cabin. So many thoughtful touches to make……

“This is an amazing property. The home is beautiful and sits on a quiet cove just off the main lake. The amenities were plentiful, including a new outdoor pool that we thoroughly enjoyed, games, floats, water toys and a large dock that easily accommodated our boat.
